Solo Soles Prohibited Items Policy

Sellers may list only lawful, authentic, accurately described merchandise permitted by Solo Soles.

An item is not automatically permitted merely because it is footwear.

Solo Soles may remove any listing that:

• Violates law;
• Violates this Policy;
• Creates an unreasonable safety risk;
• Is materially misleading;
• Violates another person's rights;
• Is inconsistent with the purpose of the marketplace; or
• Creates an unreasonable risk to Solo Soles or its users.

Solo Soles is primarily designed for:

• Individual LEFT shoes;
• Individual RIGHT shoes; and
• Other footwear or footwear-related categories specifically approved by Solo Soles.

Solo Soles may expand or restrict permitted categories at any time.

Sellers may not use Solo Soles as a general marketplace for unrelated merchandise unless Solo Soles expressly creates and authorizes that category.

Counterfeit merchandise is strictly prohibited.

Sellers may not list:

• Fake branded shoes;
• Unauthorized replicas;
• Counterfeit designer footwear;
• Products bearing unauthorized trademarks;
• Items falsely represented as genuine;
• Imitation goods represented as authentic; or
• Products intentionally designed to mislead buyers regarding their manufacturer or origin.

If you are uncertain whether an item is authentic, do not represent it as authenticated.

Solo Soles may request additional photographs or information concerning authenticity.

Sellers may not list:

• Stolen merchandise;
• Items obtained through fraud;
• Items obtained through theft;
• Merchandise obtained through unauthorized account access;
• Items the seller does not own or have authority to sell; or
• Property subject to another person's superior ownership rights.

Solo Soles may cooperate with lawful investigations concerning stolen merchandise.

Products subject to an applicable government or manufacturer safety recall may not be listed when resale is prohibited or the product presents an unresolved safety risk.

Sellers are responsible for reasonably determining whether an item is subject to an applicable recall.

Solo Soles may remove recalled or potentially unsafe products without advance notice.

Sellers may not list footwear or related products containing or contaminated with unlawful or dangerous hazardous substances.

This includes items presenting an unreasonable risk involving:

• Toxic chemicals;
• Dangerous chemical contamination;
• Biohazardous material;
• Illegal substances;
• Hazardous residues; or
• Other dangerous materials.

Used footwear is permitted when allowed by Solo Soles and accurately described. However, sellers may not list items that present an unreasonable hygiene or biological contamination risk.

Prohibited conditions may include:

• Visible blood or bodily fluids;
• Biological waste;
• Significant untreated mold;
• Hazardous contamination;
• Active infestation;
• Strong contamination making ordinary handling unsafe; or
• Other conditions presenting an unreasonable health or sanitation risk.

Ordinary signs of normal use do not automatically make used footwear prohibited. Sellers must disclose material condition issues honestly.

Solo Soles is primarily a footwear marketplace, not a medical-device marketplace.

Unless expressly approved by Solo Soles, sellers may not list:

• Prescription-only medical devices;
• Prescription orthotics;
• Regulated medical devices requiring professional fitting or authorization;
• Medical equipment that cannot lawfully be resold;
• Prescription medications;
• Drugs; or
• Other regulated healthcare products.

Ordinary commercially available footwear marketed as adaptive, orthopedic-style, comfort, diabetic-friendly, wide-width, brace-compatible, or similar may be permitted provided it can lawfully be sold and the listing does not make misleading medical claims.

Sellers may not claim that an ordinary shoe:

• Treats a disease;
• Cures a medical condition;
• Prevents a disease;
• Guarantees relief from a medical condition; or
• Provides medical results that the seller cannot lawfully and accurately substantiate.

Sellers may accurately identify manufacturer-provided product features.

Solo Soles does not provide medical advice.

Any product whose possession, sale, shipment, or transfer is illegal under applicable law is prohibited.

A seller is responsible for complying with laws applicable to the seller, buyer, product, and transaction.

Sellers may not list products or content that unlawfully infringes:

• Trademarks;
• Copyrights;
• Patents;
• Design rights;
• Publicity rights; or
• Other intellectual property rights.

The fact that an item displays a brand name does not permit the seller to falsely claim affiliation with that brand.

Sellers should ordinarily photograph the actual shoe being sold.

Sellers may not use:

• Another seller's photographs;
• Copyrighted photographs without authorization;
• Misleading stock images;
• Images of a different item presented as the actual item; or
• Artificially altered images that materially misrepresent condition.

Solo Soles may permit manufacturer images for limited informational purposes, but the actual item should still be accurately depicted where required.

A listing is prohibited if the seller intentionally or materially misrepresents:

• LEFT versus RIGHT;
• Size;
• Width;
• Brand;
• Model;
• Condition;
• Authenticity;
• Color;
• Material;
• Damage;
• Wear;
• Original packaging; or
• Another material characteristic.

Solo Soles uses:

A seller must identify the actual side correctly.

Knowingly listing a RIGHT shoe as LEFT, or a LEFT shoe as RIGHT, is prohibited. Repeated careless side misidentification may also result in listing removal or seller-account restrictions.

A seller may not list an empty shoe box in a manner designed to make buyers believe a shoe is included.

If Solo Soles later permits packaging or collectible boxes as a category, the listing must unmistakably disclose that no shoe is included.

Unless Solo Soles expressly permits another fulfillment model, sellers should have possession or control of the item before listing it.

Prohibited practices may include:

• Listing merchandise the seller does not possess and cannot reliably obtain;
• Unauthorized dropshipping;
• Selling an item already sold elsewhere without promptly removing the Solo Soles listing; or
• Creating speculative listings for products the seller does not own.

Fraudulent listings are prohibited. Examples include:

• Listing an item that does not exist;
• Using stolen photographs;
• Intending to ship an empty package;
• Providing fraudulent tracking;
• Creating fake transactions;
• Colluding with another account;
• Attempting to obtain payment without shipping; or
• Creating listings for money laundering or other unlawful purposes.

Listings may not instruct buyers to pay outside Solo Soles in order to circumvent marketplace fees or protections.

Prohibited instructions may include requests for:

• Gift cards;
• Cryptocurrency;
• Wire transfers;
• Cash sent by mail;
• Unauthorized payment apps;
• Direct bank transfers; or
• Other off-platform payments.

Listings may not publicly display unnecessary personal information, including:

• Home addresses;
• Private telephone numbers;
• Personal email addresses;
• Social Security numbers;
• Financial account information;
• Medical records; or
• Other sensitive information.

Sellers may not disclose another person's private medical information in a listing. For example, a seller should not identify another person by name and disclose that person's diagnosis as the reason the shoe is being sold.

A seller may simply explain relevant information about the shoe itself.

Listings may not contain content that unlawfully discriminates against, threatens, degrades, or promotes hatred or violence against individuals or protected groups.

Product descriptions should remain focused on the item.

Solo Soles is a footwear marketplace intended for ordinary consumer transactions.

Listings may not contain:

• Pornographic imagery;
• Sexually explicit descriptions;
• Fetish-oriented marketing;
• Sexual solicitation; or
• Content designed primarily for sexual purposes.

Ordinary photographs of footwear are permitted.

Solo Soles is not a marketplace for regulated or unrelated goods. Sellers may not list:

• Firearms;
• Weapons;
• Ammunition;
• Explosives;
• Illegal drugs;
• Controlled substances;
• Alcohol;
• Tobacco;
• Nicotine products; or
• Other unrelated regulated products.

Live animals may not be sold.

Products made from wildlife or animal materials whose sale is restricted or prohibited by law may not be listed.

Sellers may not list:

• Government identification;
• Passports;
• Driver's licenses;
• Social Security cards;
• Financial account credentials;
• Payment cards;
• Stolen account credentials; or
• Other identity documents.

Solo Soles is designed primarily for physical footwear transactions. Users may not list unrelated services unless Solo Soles expressly creates an approved service category.

Users may not use product listings primarily as unauthorized fundraising or donation solicitations. Solo Soles may create official charitable or donation programs separately.

Listings must offer an actual permitted item for sale. Users may not create listings primarily to:

• Advertise another website;
• Generate leads;
• Promote unrelated businesses;
• Collect contact information;
• Post spam; or
• Redirect users away from Solo Soles.

Unless Solo Soles expressly creates an approved category, digital products are prohibited. This includes:

• Download codes;
• Digital files;
• Software licenses;
• Online accounts;
• Gift card codes; and
• Other intangible products.

Solo Soles may prohibit an otherwise lawful item when available shipping methods cannot safely or legally transport it. Sellers must comply with applicable carrier restrictions.

Users who believe a listing violates this Policy may select:

REPORT LISTING

Potential report categories should include:

• Counterfeit;
• Stolen;
• Wrong LEFT/RIGHT designation;
• Misleading description;
• Prohibited item;
• Unsafe or contaminated;
• Intellectual property violation;
• Fraud;
• Inappropriate content; and
• Other.

Solo Soles may review reported or suspicious listings. We may request:

• Additional photographs;
• Proof of ownership;
• Authenticity information;
• Product labels;
• Receipts;
• Shipping records; or
• Other reasonably relevant information.

A request for information does not mean Solo Soles has concluded that a seller violated this Policy.

Solo Soles may remove, hide, restrict, or deactivate a listing when we reasonably believe it violates this Policy or presents an unacceptable marketplace risk. Where appropriate, Solo Soles may act without advance notice.

Violations may result in:

• Warning;
• Listing removal;
• Transaction cancellation;
• Refund;
• Payout hold;
• Selling restriction;
• Temporary suspension; or
• Permanent account termination.

Serious violations may result in immediate suspension.

Repeated violations may result in increasingly serious enforcement even where individual violations might otherwise warrant only a warning.

Where reasonably necessary or legally required, Solo Soles may provide relevant information to:

• Law enforcement;
• Government agencies;
• Payment processors;
• Shipping carriers;
• Intellectual property owners; or
• Other appropriate parties.

Any disclosure of personal information remains subject to applicable law and the Solo Soles Privacy Policy.

Solo Soles may use automated or manual systems to identify prohibited listings, but we cannot guarantee that every listing is reviewed before publication. Users should report suspected violations.

Solo Sole Shoes LLC may add, remove, or modify marketplace categories as Solo Soles grows.

An item permitted today may later become restricted if:

• Laws change;
• Safety information changes;
• Payment-provider requirements change;
• Shipping restrictions change; or
• Marketplace risk warrants a change.

If a seller is uncertain whether an item is permitted, the seller should contact Solo Soles before listing it. Do not assume an item is permitted merely because a similar item appears elsewhere on the Platform.
